The Cove Cliff Hot Lunch program is a fantastic way to raise funds for our PAC to continue funding things like field trips, technology, and extra learning opportunities. With your help, we expect to raise more than $15,000 over the school year.
2024/2025 School Year: October to January Session
The Munch a Lunch system will open for orders on Monday, October 21st, 2024, and the first Hot Lunch Day is Pizza & Local Lift Day on Monday, November 4th, 2024.
- Fridays will include Sushi Day, Well Fed Day and Hot Dog Day.
- Mondays will include Subway Day and Pizza & Local Lift Day.
Ordering and Payment: Parents can order hot lunches from October to January. However, we encourage you to order and pay in bulk, as each transaction has a fee, which means fewer funds are raised for the PAC.
Cut-Off: Hot Lunch orders must be made and paid at least 8 days before the scheduled hot lunch date, or it will not show up in the system, and your child will not receive their hot lunch order.

Volunteers Needed!
- To ensure our kids get their hot lunches accurately and promptly, we need 3-5 parent volunteers each Hot Lunch Day. This works out to over 150 person-hours during the school year!
- If you are new to the school, looking to connect with other parents, or simply want to help, volunteering with the hot lunch program is a great way to support our kids and their school. Each shift is approximately 1 hour long, and you can choose to help on any Monday or Friday for any hot lunch options.
- Hotdog Day is extra fun, and our team could use some regulars, so please try it.

Lunch Pick-up Procedure
FAQ: Is your child absent on a Hot Lunch Day?
Procedure to pick up their order:
- Before 11 am– contact the appropriate coordinator for that day (contact numbers below) and ask to have your child’s lunch put aside
- At noon, pick up your child’s lunch in the PAC kitchen (enter through the basketball court doors). Please do not arrive before noon as volunteers are too busy before noon.
- At 12:30 pm – unclaimed lunches will get redistributed to someone else.

Hot Lunch Facts
To ensure our kids get their hot lunches accurately and promptly, we require parent volunteers each day Hot Lunch is served.
- This works out to over 300 volunteer hours each school year.
- Each shift for a Hot Lunch volunteer lasts approximately one hour.
- The funds raised from the Hot Lunch program help our kids and their teachers.
- For instance, money is used to help purchase new computers and iPads, books, additional educational opportunities, and more.
