The Cove Cliff PAC has organized the following after school clubs for the 2026 FALL Term:

After School Kayak Club (Tuesdays)

Learn, Explore, Make Waves!

This exciting 4-session after-school program is designed for students in Grades 3-7 who are eager to learn how to kayak! Participants will develop their kayaking skills while gaining a deeper appreciation for the ocean environment. Through engaging activities and games, students will build their skills, knowledge, and confidence on the water. 

Skills Covered:

• Maneuvering
• Efficient paddling techniques
• Capsizing (Challenge by choice activity)
• Ocean navigation
• Water safety
• Understanding the ocean ecosystem
• …and much more!

Age: Grade 3-7
When: Tuesdays 3-5pm

After School SUP Club (Tuesdays)

Learn, Explore, Make Waves!

This exciting 4-session after-school program is designed for students in Grades 5-7 who are eager to learn how to paddleboard! Participants will develop their stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) skills while gaining a deeper appreciation for the ocean environment. Through engaging activities and games, students will build their skills, knowledge, and confidence on the water.

• Efficient paddling techniques
• Ocean navigation
• Water safety
• Understanding the ocean ecosystem

Lights Up Musical Theatre (Wednesdays)

Sing. Dance. Act. Shine!

At Lights Up Afterschool, your child can experience the joys and benefits of musical theatre by taking part in our afterschool programs led by our talented and experienced Lights Up Musical Theatre Schools’ staff. These classes are a unique introduction to our weekend musical theatre programs and provide students with an enriching, rewarding, and most of all, fun afterschool activity right at the bell!

FALL SHOW: HERCULES!

This Fall, join Lights Up Afterschool as we travel way, way back… to Ancient Greece! Inspired by the animated film of the same name, “Hercules” is full of daring heroes, hilarious sidekicks, and menacing monsters. Our afterschool students will sing, dance, act, and shine in a mythical musical that is sure to “go the distance”!

Students will be supervised from dismissal. No need to pick up your child until 5:15pm!

Performance on the last day of classes for friends and family!

Age: K-7
When: Wednesdays 3-5:15 pm
Where: School Music Room
Dates: Oct 7 – Dec 9 (no class on November 11 – Remembrance Day, early dismissal October 28 and November 4 classes will run from 2:00-4:15pm)
Cost: $380 + tax

 DRIVE Basketball (Thursdays)

The DRIVE afterschool basketball program runs at Cove Cliff Elementary and is exclusive to kids in the cove cliff community. In this program the young athletes learn about the importance of physical literacy. Each session focuses around introducing the athletes to pass, dribble, shoot, the core fundamental skills of basketball. Each core skill will be followed by fun interactive games that will help to reinforce the skill being taught. Each session will be run by a qualified, experienced coach that has completed a criminal record check. If the program has more than 14 athletes a second coach will also be present.

Age: Grades 1-5
When: Thursdays 3-4:30pm (early dismissal Nov 5 class will run 2:00-3:30pm)
Where: School gym
Dates: Sep 24 to Dec 10
Cost: $315 +tax per student

 STEM Camps BC (Thursdays)

Stem/engineering/robotics. Our stem program introduces simple project-based activities. Children are encouraged to create, invent and implement ideas, while collaborating with others. 

• Precoding and coding games
• Building activities
• Electricity foundations
• RC (Trains, cars, robots…)
• Brain teasers…. And more!
